1. Who you are contracting with
This website is operated by PHUMADE INC, trading as STRADA, of 1200 Riverfront Parkway, Suite 210, Chattanooga, TN 37402 ("we", "us"). By placing an order you enter into a contract with PHUMADE INC.
2. Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract forms when we send you a dispatch confirmation, not when you place the order. We may decline an order — for example if an item is out of stock, if pricing was displayed in error, or if we cannot verify the billing details — and if we do, we refund you in full and tell you why.
3. Pricing
Prices are in US dollars and shown inclusive of nothing except the item itself. Shipping and any applicable sales tax are shown separately at checkout before you pay. The total displayed on the payment page is the total charged.
If an item is listed at a manifestly incorrect price, we are not obliged to sell it at that price. We will contact you before doing anything, and you may cancel.
4. Payment and card handling
We accept major credit and debit cards, and Apple Pay where your device supports it.
Card details are entered into a field hosted by our PCI-DSS compliant payment provider and are transmitted directly to them. STRADA does not receive, process or store your full card number, and full card numbers are never stored on our systems. What we retain against an order is limited to the last four digits, the card brand, and the expiry date, which is what we need to identify a payment and process a refund.
Payment is captured when your order is placed. If a payment is later reversed or charged back, we reserve the right to withhold dispatch pending resolution.
5. Statement descriptor
The name that appears on your card statement is shown to you on the payment page before you confirm. If you see a charge you don't recognise, please contact us at support@stradairon.com or (423) 555-0147 before disputing it with your bank — we can almost always identify it immediately and, if it's wrong, refund it faster than a dispute would.
6. Delivery and risk
Delivery timescales on our shipping page are estimates in business days and are not guaranteed dates. Risk passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we have received payment in full.
7. Returns
Our returns policy forms part of these terms. It gives you 60 days, which is more than the law requires, and nothing in it limits your statutory rights.
8. Warranty
Our warranty forms part of these terms. It is offered in addition to your statutory rights and does not replace them.
9. Product descriptions
Our products are made by casting, forging and hand-finishing. Dimensions and weights are nominal and subject to normal manufacturing tolerance. Colour, patina, hammer pattern and grain vary from piece to piece; photographs are representative rather than exact. This variation is a property of the process, not a defect.
10. Acceptable use
You may not resell our products commercially without a written agreement, use our images or brand name without permission, or place orders using payment details you are not authorised to use.
11. Liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
Cookware gets extremely hot and heavy pieces can cause injury if dropped. Follow the guidance on the care page and use appropriate protection when handling hot iron.
12. Changes
We may amend these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee and the courts of Tennessee have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you where you live.
